SureLight P-1 is compatible with 594 nm and 612 nm lasers and can be used for direct fluorescent detection on glass slides, microplate applications and for protein microarrays. With its large stokes shift, background interference is greatly diminished.
Structural Characteristics of SureLight® P1
The phycobilisomes are arranged with a core of APC surrounded by R-PC with B-PE radiating outward producing a hemispherical shaped structure with an approximate diameter of 50 nm. The excitation spectrum reflects the constituent phycobiliproteins.
